Safety in Stamping Production
When producing dozens or hundreds of stamped parts per minute, the processes of feeding, stamping, unloading, and waste removal are completed in a short time, often leading to personal injury, equipment damage, and quality issues.
Therefore, safe production in stamping is a crucial issue. Safety measures in stamping include:
① Achieving mechanized and automated feeding and unloading.
② Installing mechanical protective devices to prevent hand injuries. Utilizing die protective covers, automatic unloading devices, and manual tools for feeding and unloading.
③ Installing electrical protection and power-off devices. Installing photoelectric or air curtain protection switches, two-hand or multi-hand tandem start switches, and anti-misoperation devices, etc.
④ Improving the clutch and braking structure so that the press crankshaft, connecting rod, and punch can immediately stop in their original positions after a danger signal is issued.
