Thin Copper Parts

Thin Copper Parts

Our product is produced using high-quality pure copper (purple copper) or brass, with thickness ranging from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm. We employ a wall-thinning (ironing) drawing process that gradually reduces the wall thickness of the copper.

Product Introduction

Engineered Thin Copper Parts for Electrical and Valve Applications

Our product is produced using high-quality pure copper (purple copper) or brass, with thickness ranging from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm. We employ a wall-thinning (ironing) drawing process that gradually reduces the wall thickness of the copper. This process allows us to control wall thickness within ±0.05 mm, producing a smooth surface and increasing strength by approximately 30% compared to the raw material. The thinned copper parts exhibit excellent electrical conductivity, making them ideal for electronic devices, connectors, or valve components. Our tooling engineers design dedicated thinning drawing dies based on your drawings or sample parts, ensuring the product has precise dimensions, uniform wall transitions, and no cracks. During forming, the copper undergoes plastic deformation, and the metal grain aligns with the part shape, enhancing fatigue resistance and maintaining stable conductivity. Last year, we produced 200,000 units as connectors for a motor manufacturer. The pass rate was 99.4%, and the customer reported excellent conductivity, good assembly fit, and high repeat order rates.

Precision Manufacturing with Full Traceability

Our factory spans 10,000 square meters and is equipped with 45 professional machines, including 15 presses and 4 hydraulic presses (the largest is 2,000 tons). For every batch of thin copper parts, we perform a first-article inspection. QC personnel use custom gauges to measure critical dimensions such as wall thickness, outer diameter, and height, ensuring strict compliance with drawing requirements. We maintain detailed daily production records, enabling each product to be traced back to its operator and production date. This ensures full quality control for your product orders. The multi-step thinning process uses 200 to 500-ton hydraulic presses to achieve precise wall reduction without compromising material integrity.

Custom Surface Finishes and Reliable Export Packaging

We welcome OEM and ODM partnerships for thin copper parts, with a minimum order quantity of 5,000 pieces. Customers can customize various shapes and surface finishes, including tin plating, silver plating, or polishing. Sample development generally takes 15 to 35 days, with mass production around 25 days. Our ongoing collaboration with APEX Australia means we are well-versed in international packaging standards-typically cartons plus wooden pallets suitable for sea freight. By selecting our product, you receive high-quality components along with comprehensive service from mold design to full-scale production. Frequently asked questions involve conductivity requirements, tolerance capabilities, and lead times - we are happy to provide samples and discuss your specific application.
