Butter Pail Lid

Our butter pail lid is manufactured from high-quality cold-rolled steel ST14 or stainless steel 304, with a material thickness ranging from 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm. We form this product through a single-piece drawing process, creating a shape similar to a small pot lid. The top features a center hole or flanged structure for assembling a grease nipple or sealing ring. Our tooling engineers design dedicated drawing dies based on your drawings or sample parts, ensuring the lid has consistent depth, smooth edges, and no cracking or wrinkling. During forming, the metal undergoes work hardening, increasing strength by approximately 20% to 30% compared to the raw material. The metal grain aligns with the product shape, making the lid durable enough to withstand internal pressure. Last year, we supplied 80,000 pieces to a domestic agricultural machinery company. The pass rate reached 99.2%, and the customer reported smooth assembly, excellent sealing, and no oil leakage.

Our factory covers 10,000 square meters and houses 45 professional machines, including 15 presses and 4 hydraulic presses (the largest is 2,000 tons). For the products, we perform a first-article inspection for every batch. QC staff use custom gauges to measure outer diameter, depth, and wall thickness, maintaining tolerances within ±0.1 mm. Our dedicated quality team performs either sampling or a 100% inspection for each batch, checking for scratches, burrs, or surface marks to ensure every lid meets your standards. The production process employs 200 to 500-ton hydraulic presses for precise drawing, ensuring uniform wall thickness and structural integrity.
