Inside, it houses the diaphragm, push rod, and return spring - parts that must work together perfectly. The reliability of this housing is essential for the entire system. The housing features a precise cylindrical structure. One end has a precision air inlet port that connects to the brake valve, allowing compressed air in quickly without leaks. The other end has a push rod hole that guides the rod smoothly. This design fully complies with international brake regulations such as ECE R13 and FMVSS 121.

Thick Steel for High-Pressure Safety

 

 

Brake systems are subjected to repeated high-pressure shocks, so the material must be very strong. We use high-performance ST14 steel for this stamping auto parts. It can handle deep drawing while maintaining excellent strength.

For heavy trucks, we recommend a standard thickness of 2.5 mm. This is not arbitrary: computer stress analysis shows this thickness can handle continuous air pressures above 1 MPa and sudden shocks. Even in extreme hot or cold conditions, it will not deform or crack. Wall thickness can be customized for specific vehicle models.

We form each housing in one shot using 200–500 ton high-precision presses. Critical mounting holes and sealing surfaces are kept within ±0.1 mm tolerances, ensuring the diaphragm and push rod fit perfectly and preventing air leaks from the start.

Efficient Force Conversion

 

 

This housing also plays another crucial role: it converts air pressure into mechanical force efficiently. When compressed air enters, the rigid housing directs the pressure onto the diaphragm, which pushes the rod to activate the brakes. We pay special attention to inner surface smoothness and guide structure precision, minimizing resistance. This reduces energy loss, making the brake pedal responsive and the braking force strong.

We can apply Dacromet or multi-alloy coatings to the surface, passing salt spray tests for over 1,000 hours. This ensures excellent corrosion resistance against rain, snow, and de-icing salts. Every unit undergoes an airtightness test before leaving the factory, with leak rates below ISO 1219-1 standards. With our stamping auto parts, your clients have our safety guarantee on every trip.
