Flameproof Speaker

Think about a large oil ship deck or a coal mine tunnel. The alarm sound must cut through loud machine noise and reach every worker. If the speaker housing is weak or the metal blocks the sound, people may not hear the warning. That is why we designed our flameproof speaker.

It began as a custom order from a Russian client, who needed a speaker housing that could remain tough at minus 40 degrees Celsius while still delivering a clear alarm. We leveraged our 20 years of mold experience to develop a special die-casting process for this product. The housing is made from ADC12 aluminum alloy, which remains strong in extreme cold. We also incorporated a specially designed sound guide structure in the mold to help the sound travel further. In noisy and hazardous environments, this speaker performs reliably.

We chose ADC12 because it is strong and acoustically stable. The housing is formed in a single shot using a 200-ton die-casting machine, which prevents extra vibrations that could distort the sound. This ensures pure audio output.

For waterproofing, we added a vent cover to the housing, which balances internal and external air pressure while keeping water and dust out. The speaker passes IP66 testing, meaning even strong water jets cannot damage it.

Using aluminum alloy also reduces weight: this housing is 40% lighter than traditional cast iron alternatives, making it safer and easier to install at heights or on moving equipment.

Our production capacity is strong. With 45 machines, we can manufacture around 10 million speaker housings per month, ensuring large orders ship quickly.
